To be a clinical educator in Emergency Medicine.
Areas of interest in Emergency Medicine:
Toxicology, critical care
Time spent outside of medical school:
Working in HIV research at the University of North Carolina, subsequently working in continuing medical education in Chapel Hill, NC.
Favorite thing about practicing Emergency Medicine:
The variety, the pace, and the colleagues.
Favorite thing about Yale:
My classmates and fellow residents. I was initially drawn here by the people and a feeling that Yale would be a good fit for me both professionally and personally, and I was right. I also liked the critical care time and elective time in the curriculum and felt that the extra year spent on well-planned electives and in the ICU would be useful and was training I wouldn't be able to get any other way.
