Dr. Erica S. Spatz, MD, MHS is a general cardiologist and a clinical investigator at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE). Her practice emphasizes primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, with attention to risk-reductive therapies, nutrition, exercise and stress management. Dr. Spatz is interested in understanding the unique clinical and contextual factors that influence health, and how best to incorporate them to optimize decision-making, healthcare delivery and health outcomes.
Dr. Spatz is funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) K12 Career Development Award in Patient Centered Outcomes Research.
