The mission of the Office of Communications is to inform and inspire the world by representing Yale School of Medicine and its achievements in a distinctive, relevant, and unified manner—and to empower our community to join us in this mission.
We support a variety of institutional initiatives and events, including print and electronic publishing, multimedia production, management of the school’s social media channels, communications from the Dean’s Office, and institutional web planning, including the development of the medical school website and template design as a platform for both information and operations.
The office produces the school's magazine Yale Medicine, the bimonthly newsletter Medicine@Yale, the monthly newsletter Yale Practice, the Weekly Digest of events and announcements, and the student-edited Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, and is responsible for all YSM web sites and social media channels.
