Our Office of Communications is focused on sharing news and stories about Yale Medicine innovations in science and medicine in the areas of education, research and clinical practice. We publish inspirational stories, explorations of science and society, practical health articles and videos via websites, print magazines and newsletters. Our audiences include people in our community, patients and physicians, as well as our alumni, faculty members and students.
Our team works closely with Yale’s Office of Public Affairs and Communications, which works directly with news media and also publishes articles about Yale School of Medicine research and other institutional news. For public relations matters, please contact OPAC: 203.432.1345. In addition, we coordinate with communications people at the Cancer Center, the Department of Psychiatry, the Child Study Center, the School of Public Health and Yale New Haven Health.

Yale Medicine Web Contributors
The website of the clinical practice (yalemedicine.org) addresses the needs of patients and families, referring physicians and patient advocates—informing patients about the practice. (The site will be relaunched in 2017). We use a “beat” system for covering the clinical services and research organizations.
