Dr. C. Chime Karkhang is an ANCC board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) who completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Yale University. Dr. Karkhang has a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of healthcare through research and education. Recognized for her contributions to the field of healthcare, she was awarded the 2022 American Society of Transplant Surgeons Advanced Transplant Provider Research Grant, was a speaker at the 2023 Yale School of Nursing Scholars' Day, and was the 2023 recipient of the Milton and Anne Sidney Prize. This prestigious award acknowledges their clinical research contributions, which have directly contributed to the betterment of health outcomes for all people. In her current role she works in Transplant Surgery Department providing care for patients who are pre and post liver and kidney organ transplantation.
