Biography

Dr. Johnson is originally from the Tri-State area. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps while still in high school in response to the Global War on Terror. While serving as a Marine, he deployed to Afghanistan for a total of a year, and upon his return, he began his educational career. He has Bachelors degrees in both Biological Psychology and in Health Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University. After graduation, he spent most of the following year traveling around the world, and then subsequently attended medical school at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his Medical Degree as a DO. While completing his residency, Dr. Johnson also completed his MBA at Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is currently serving as a Chief Resident Physician at the Yale School of Medicine, based primarily at the Veteran Affairs hospital as a way to continue to work closely with veterans like himself. He continues to travel and play music as he has throughout most of his life - he even played for the Marine Corps Band for a period of time while serving in the USMC.
