Government Agencies

Through partnership with Government Agencies, the Yale-China Program on Child Development will:

  1. Provide research and advisory services for government agencies in their policy making decisions
  2. Host "Sino-US Preschool & Kindergarten Education & Child Development Forums"
  3. Promote exchanges between the two governments in the fields of early childhood education and social policy for children

Research at the Zigler Center focuses on areas such as: federal policy that concerns underprivileged children and families; the development of Head Start; and pre-kindergarten quality assessment. Collaborating with Chinese Government is central to all of these research goals.
