Yale DrivSim faculty use systems science to develop a causal loop model focused on systems in society that influences driving after drinking behaviors among adolescents and young adults

A recent review by several Yale Developmental Neurocognitive Driving Simulation Research Center (DrivSim Lab) faculty, in collaboration with several institutions, identifies and maps key feedback mechanisms that affect alcohol-impaired driving among adolescents and young adults in the U.S. The review also identifies implications for prevention practices and suggests strategies to reduce youth impaired driving and related crash deaths.
